October is here

Wow October is here and I am so excited. This is the month of my birthday which I tend to celebrate for the entire month.  I have been really busy as you might see and have not updated my blog since August. 

Well for starters my youngest son will be going to Europe next summer. We have been really excited and pretty busy getting things together.  Then my oldest son is getting his drivers license this year. He passed the permit test but in our household all of the birth certificates came up missing wow but I have no fear they will turn up.

Crafty wise I have done a few cards this month here they are.

August Memories

Welcome to August fellow bloggers. This is the month to get ready to send the kids off to school. It is also the month where many people have their family reunions.  We had ours over the last weekend in July only I was not able make it. I have seen many pictures of the event and boy do I wish that I could have made it. But no use wishing for what could have been.  I have been here enjoying the peace and quiet of not having to have the childen home for the summer. Although they have not been here they were sorely missed.  While they were away I spent the time being crafty. I  created two paperbag mini albums which I will upload pictures of. Until next time.

Vacation

Well it seems a while since I have added a post. The reason being is that I was on a staycation with all of my friends and family coming here for a visit instead of me going somewhere else.  Well I must say that we really enjoyed ourselves. We went to the Mall of America several days in a row and did some outlet mall shopping. I think the only thing we did while on vacation was shop and eat. But my family loves to do that so as the kids say no harm no foul.  I did not take many pictures while on vacation but I did manage to create some paper bag albums.  I have wanted to try them for a while and will upload pictures later. Well I have been a busy little person. between work getting ready for vacation and the kids have not had much time to scrap or update my blog. I have worked on a few cards for a co-worker I will attach them later. Its time to get ready for work. Have to run

Father's Day

Well it was no tthe typical Father's day inmy house. I had to work and my brother whom we normally celebrate the day with was at home. He came out on Saturday to paint at my sister's house and I gave him his first ever tri-fold card. This is a card that I created quite by accident as I was trying to make a bi-fold card and couldn't find any instructions on how to complete it. Well here is my attempt at the tri-fold card hope you like it.
